post #1 of 9

Wow.

I remember reading someone else's thread and thinking: Wow that sucks (would never happen to me).

-____________-;

I have a dasKeyboard Silent with Cherry Browns. What should I do from here? Shake it dry and...?

*wiping down my desk, realized it's not sticky because, fortunately, it was dietsprite, no sugar.
*and i only have diet because took it home... i don't buy soda especially not diet soda. xd

I'm interested to know if dome is more effected as opposed to mechanical switches? Because my brother has spilled soda on two keyboards (rubber dome switches) of mine ( thankfully they were not very good) and they stopped registering keys after a couple of days.

Buy your brother a Mechanical keyboard and find out.

In any case Cherry MX and ALPS is quite rustproof. IBM Model Ms are a problem.

You would think people would stop drinking around their keyboards or get sippy cups by now. Jk man, good to know that that worked out for you.
