Pretty sure there are not restrictions other than minimum price is $1.25 USD and $250 USD maximum. But anyway, time to make some money biggrin.gif

Will the sort of people who need to launder their money really put up with the 15% they lose on every transaction? Not to mention the 250 dollar max limit... i'm sure Blizzard's going to notice an individuals hundred 250 dollar transactions to the same person and get a little suspicious.

It's ONE of the many things that ruins this game.

RMAH wasn't implemented for the benefit of players, that's just a tiny side-effect. 99.9% of the reason behind it's implementation was because Actiblizzard saw HUGE potential for making them even more money since so most of their customers are essentially just sheep with pockets full of unwanted cash. Rich kids with their parents' credit cards will have the best items, but Actiblizzard doesn't care about that - they will take their cut and roll in millions.

there aren't that many in-game exploits out there yet, so the money laundering is semi-irrelevant, its just like any other hack, if blizzard finds it, it will most likely be gone in a week


if you're talking about money laundering as in REAL LIFE crimes, I think you have to transfer money into the blizzard account from somewhere like paypal? if the money is in paypal already wouldn't it be already cleaned?

There's no bank of blizzard that you can just walk in and give them a pile of dirty money you know.
