I am enjoying the beta very much! Looks very promising to me. Graphics are killer and the MP Hunter mode is soooooo much fun!! Already have mine pre-ordered! There are others on here that will tell you its garbage/crap, but to each their own. I suggest you download it and try it yourself.

I wonder if this only works for those with a single monitor setup. Aren't you using 3 monitors?

Ohh here we go again. Some kid who believes that us PC players are some kind of gaming master race that should only use a keyboard. Lol what a joke. I hate to break it to you but I guarantee you I would easily hang with most of you KB/M users in any Fps game. I have no problem holding a 2.5 kdr in BF3 and being in the Top 3 every match. Am I an exception to the rule? Maybe but I'll take sitting back in my office chair with my feet up relaxed with a controller in my lap any day of sitting up stiff against my desk will elbows flat on my desk playing on KB/M. Many people would be surprised that many top level BF3 players are what you call hybrid controller players. They use the 360 controller for player/vehicle movement and the mouse for aiming. With some sensitivity adjustments I have no problem using the 360 controller for both. When it come to vehicles the KB/M is no match to the controller. There are disadvantages to using a keyboard. You can only move left/right/up/down. There is no moving at angles. Thus giving the controller an advantage. The mouse is much more precise then a joystick on a controller but for me I hate the jitterness of movement when aiming with a mouse. It makes things feel very un-natural. The controller is much smoother and feels more natural. And I have no problem locking on targets quickly with it. To each his own I guess. Were all adults playing video games. Play them the way you choose. If your competitive and your comfortable then thats all that matters. But don't act like your better then everyone else because you use KB/M because there are plenty other players like me that will quickly put you in your place. Cheers

Go back to your outdated hardware peon, the master race has more important things to discuss.

He doesn't know how to press A and W at the same time lol.
I have a controller, tried using it in BF3 on foot, was a no go. It isn't intuitive.
Tried using it in Borderlands 2, no go.
I only use it inside vehicles in BF3/DayZ, also use it to play ACIII and GTA games sometimes.

About the mouse jerkiness or w,e, the people who complain about it must use the wrong sensitivity settings for their type of gameplay, a crap mouse or they simply shake uncontrollably.
If you spend the same ammount of cash getting a decent mouse than you would spend on a controller you will see that the movement gets smoother, if you remember that it is just a game and there is no reason to get nervous your movement will get smoother. And spend a good ammount of time ignoring your K/D ratio to find whats the best sensitivity for you. It can do wonder's...

I had that same issue when I played CS:S competitively, I used a wireless cheapo mouse... Since I changed to my current mouse the movement got alot smoother and I don't feel pain from using it for long periods of time.
To make things worst since it was a competition and I really wanted to win, I'd get nervous vs some opponents and start shaking which would ruin my aim completely.

Lol this isn't about nervousness. I prefer a 360 controller and have no problem being competitive with it. I do use the KB/M exclusively when I play CSS because its a much simpler game when it comes to key bindings. Basically run/jump/shoot. But games like BF3 with so many different controls I find the controller's tightly laid out controls much more comfortable. I probably have one of the best keyboard and mouse combo's available so its not the hardware. Its more about preference and being comfortable for me. If you are more comfortable with a KB/M setup in BF3 then more power to you. Does it make you a better player then me. Absolutely not.
