Yep, that's me, I'm thinking about redoing those benches after I do some tweaking of software.

I ascended to that position using only my Dell Poweredge, and Ill probably be benching my X336 some time as well for those few extra points tongue.gif

And yeah those D9's are rare these days, I had the option of getting 2.2V D9's (Ballistix Tracers) but I heard they have a high kill rate, so I decided against buying them.


Is there anymore Optimisation I can do for XP that will improve performance? I'm currently running XP in classic mode during my benches.

So far on air, while I haven't posted any results, I've managed to get the e7500 to go into os at 4.3ghz (they get really power hungry after 3.85ghz roughly) and for the p4 630, I managed to get that to boot at 4.15ghz.

You can try moving into Diagnostic Mode by typing "MSCONFIG" into the RUN cmd box (Start button > usually bottom right). Move the Startup option from either the Selective or Normal Startup to "Diagnostic" that works for some benchmarks.

Also just bought another 2 cpu's for the bench, ones an E1200, the other is a E6750.

UPDATE: well still waiting on duniek's pot, the e6750 and apparently the vrm cooler and gpu cooler will arrive on the 16th, so I gotta wait a bit.

Ok finally got my pot, will be doing a bench next weekend 17/08 with 10kg of dice (may extend to the 19th if I purchase more).

A few updates:
Killed my 4870 that I was volt modding (not sure how, but the core isn't getting voltage (barely anything 0.08V) so I'm not sure what happened there. (getting a replacement, might use it in a later bench session)

Will be benching with:
