Crucial m4 1k vs 4k primary align

Back in november when I first got my m4 64gb, I ran AS SSD once everything was set up, I had 1k offset, and 4k-64thrd ended up on ~270/95 r/w.
Yesterday I reinstalled windows for the second time on this ssd, and I decided to go with a 4k offset, as sean's guide recommended for newer ssds, I'm not an expert on the subject, so I thought why not?

However, to my surprise, the values have now changed to ~125/80, while all other tests are about the same.

Could anyone shed some light on this, and explain why this would happen? I'm feeling quite silly now for not realising this until I've spent a few days to modify everything the way I like it.

Post a screenshot of AS SSD for me. I believe that your drive is having issues as are some others' M4s are.

Alright then, should I return the drive? I'm not really sure how much real performance loss this has caused, I still feel like the drive is as fast as it needs to be, windows boots up just as fast and I can't really say I've noticed anything.

No, no need to return imo. Crucial is actually working on a fix for it I believe. I think it is just a issue with the garbage collection routine and throttles or something. Mine does the same. Mainly as you can see it affects the higher threaded benches. With SSDs normally users rarely ever get into over 3 or 4 threads, let alone 64 as benched lol. So it shouldn't be noticeable as you said.
