1055T and CoolerMaster Hyper 212+

Thread Starter
So I'm having an AMD Phenom II X6 1055T cooled with CoolerMaster Hyper 212+.
The temps with Intel Burn Test reach up to 59 celsius, which I don't consider normal, taking in mind that the fan is running at 2k RPM, and the CPU has turbo turned off. The maximum temperature that this CPU should reach (with the stock cooler) is 62c. What the heck is going on? I have Arctic Cooling MX-4 between the CPU and the heatsink, do you mind telling me your temperatures if you have the same CPU/Cooler combo?

Thanks.

@ p.s. I'm having the 125W version of 1055T
@ p.s. I've got the voltage manually set at 1.45 (default is 1.475 because of turbo), and when I try to lower it, Intel Burn Test gives me an error message because of system instability.

have you tried to reseat it? Its posible the tim got messed up or you used to much. You only need about a grain of rice sized peice in teh center. Make sure the cooler is securley fastend, and that the fans are indeeed plugged in

What are the temps now? I'm able to get up to 3.9 or so with some 85F ambient temps since my AC is broke. I also have the NB oc'd to 2800.

even on a corsair H70 i could on muster a 3.8 on the ASUS M4A89GTD and stay
in TCASE. which is fine, another .2GHZ isn;t going to win any awards in gains.
