Hi everyone. I had my Philips TV connected to my PC via HDMI cable. T his setup was running for long time flawlessly. Yesterday i decided to switch my PC with my notebook. I hooked the Asus notebook to the TV and there is that nasty flickering on every 5 minutes the TV goes black for a second. It is so annoying when watching a movie. How do i fix it? I know the problem is in the notebook, but i don't know where to look further. Thanks!!!

Try grabbing some up to date video drivers for the laptop. Just search the Asus website (one of them) for the model of laptop you have and grab the latest video drivers for your OS. Not sure if that'll help but drivers is usually the first answer you'll get to video questions.

I have 2 video graphics cards. One is integrated Intel HD, other is 520MX. I updated the drivers for the 520MX, the Intel drivers were up to date. The movies run always on the integrated graphics card. Only the games and some other apps like Photoshop i could hook to the 520 MX.
Could that be it? The integrated graphics screwing up?- TV flickers when connected to Notebook via HDMI
