Its rare that hardware is damaged through overclocking if you know whats going on. Not only that, theres usually warranties on the hardware. And the last thing you could tell her, is that you have experts at overclock.net to help you along the way.

Edit:Intwl doesnt cover ocing. I didnt know intel OR AMD covered ocing.

indeed intel deosnt but the site im gonna order from says nothing bout overclocking so herr-ah besides ill keep temps in check 59 degrees max on full load...

but enough about the washing machine lol.

Yea if you put it back to stock how are they really going to know that you overclocked it unless they do some extensive tests which they wont. I know plenty of people that have overclocked their hardware and had to RMA it and havn't had any problems.

Considering they created the proc's..

I doubt they dont already know exactly what the symptoms of a proc that dies of OCing are...they probably fried dozens if not hundred's during development and research..
