Hey all, I finally found a stable OC for my Q9550 to get her at 4ghz! This system was sold to me by a friend last week for only $150 and I couldn't say no even if she's a little old. All my games run amazing compared to my old q6600 @ 2.7. The only game I'm having trouble in is BF3 still. While the performance did increase, I still get sluggish FPS. My friend played BF3 on this same system and got 50-60 on ULTRA (he has a GTX 480 tho). I run the game all MEDIUM with 4xaa, HBAO, 16XAF, textures on ULTRA @ 1280x1024 and get 30-45 fps. Turning off AA didn't do much so I kept it on. I've seen people running BF3 on ULTRA with a 460, so I'm a little confused. Do you think my GFX card is just still too low for BF3? should I get a 570/580? I don't wanna upgrade this whole system for just BF3. All my other games (CSS, CSGO, MW2, MW3, BO, SKYRIM, Crysis) run just fine.

what's in gonna take to play this game with aa and high AF? I was thinking about picking up a 670 later in July, would that do it?
