7850 or 7870 for $40 more? - Page 3

i would say 7870 all the way. but why pay that much when a 7950 is so cheap? better then both:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131458

even a high quality twin frozr is the same price as the 7870:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127667

or you want to stay in the same price range:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150665
7970 for same price as 7950 twin frozr or heres one even cheaper:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131468

powercolor is a decent brand, they make a more high end card the Devil that is superb.

Personally id say the best bang for buck, after rebate $299 w/ 3 free games and triple fan design:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125413

dont buy a 7850/7870 right now the 7950/7970 are dropping to decent prices in the same ballpark.

(dont pay attention to newegg reviews most of them are driver/user errors. Also have seen many users fix artifacts by actually lowering the volts of gpu or overclocking to match volts. Doesnt work everytime but sometimes.)
