Anyone know what the problem is when my system freezes and all I get is vertical gray lines? Does that mean I need more voltage?
Edit: everything so far is on stock voltage

yeah 1200 core speeds on stock voltage is not possible.You will have to increase voltage.you can try small increments of 0.025v and check for stability. more memory voltage can help you reach higher speeds on memory. Don't push voltages too high. You don't want to risk your card. So aim for max speeds within 1.25V core voltage. unless you are a benchmark guy 1150 -1200 core and 1300 - 1350 memory is good. smile.gif

The reason I crashed was because of my memory @ 1400mhz not because of my 1200mhz core.

1200mhz core and 1350mhz memory is completely stable @ stock voltage. If you want I can provide proof. biggrin.gif

Depends what his stock voltage is.

Not all 7850's run on the same stock voltage.
1 card of mine had 1.225V on load while the other only had 1.075V.

If his card is at 1.075V stock than yes thats a pretty good overclock, if his card normally runs at 1.225V then its just a normal OC.

My stock voltage is 1.138.

Edit: I'm guessing the stock voltage depends on the amount of VRM cooling, which would depend on the vendor. Is that correct?

Dont exactly know why, i noticed the one with the lowest Vcore had the highest ASIC quality.

Btw, 1.138V is nice for the OC you got wink.gif

the two overclocks above are tempting me to increase the voltage drool.gif

I've never increase the voltage, so does anyone know if it is safe for me to increase voltage on the reference his 7850 2gb (i know i shoulda gotten the iceq x 7850 doh.gif)

@northbayvallejo

What voltage are you using for 1215c/1510m?
