Currently running 1100 core 1450 mem, 1.21v Stock was 975 core 1200 mem 1.138v?

My uniengine scores are irrelevant cause crap resoultion (1280x1024...good monitor died)
Without a voltage boost how were your overclocks?

Good point, perhaps I will install Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon and enjoy going old school lol.

It's a good idea to play the games you have to see if it's stable. My personal stable clock at stock voltage was 1150. Hit a bit of a wall and had to go to 1.225 for 1270 though.

Yeah, sadly at 1150 = immediate bluescreen error but I'm hoping I can hit 1350-1400mhz on memory before slamming into that wall.

May be voltage locked now (you have to check) & the fan supposedly spins at 1900RPM which is lower than that of the other GPUs but with no real VRM cooling, the review is from Feb 3rd, also ASUS link is http://www.overclockers.ru/lab/51943_3/Obzor_i_testirovanie_videokarty_ASUS_HD_7850-DC2T-2GD5-V2.html

Also the one they reviewed is not the PCS+ it is the single large fan one that was on sale for $155 at Newegg , see http://www.overclockers.ru/lab/51851_3/Obzor_i_testirovanie_videokarty_PowerColor_AX7850_2GBD5-DHV2.html#13

PCS+ is AX7850 2GBD5-2DHPP , vs AX7850 2GBD5-DHV2

With GPUs and CPUS it's all luck unless the GPUs are binned

I RMA'd my card once and it was only a tiny bit better ... mad.gif
The sapphire lacks any real VRM cooling also.

Seriously???? My Sapphire (factory overclocked version) is whisper quiet and keeps my temps at idle 32c...load under 50c with 1100mhz/1300mhz stock voltage (going to try pushing memory tomorrow). I couldn't have been happier as it's about 50% quieter than my GTX 260 was at 50% tongue.gif

I would get this one
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102999

With luck this isn't the same one you have (for my own vram cooling lol)

It's the same exact one i have ... My stock voltage is 1.138v and if i want to push it to 1.1GHz i definitely need 1.18V and yes at those points my GPU begins to turn into a furnace (comparatively) @ 70+C
Pushing it to 100% fan speed isn't helping ... 1-2C at best. 50% is good enough, 100% doesn't help. I think that's the limit of the heatsink ... There's only 1 (basically) pipe what do i expect?
What do you use for VRAM cooling? I already have lying around 7 of these and would definitely order a truckload more (Of course not at those prices)

How about this: http://www.techpowerup.com/183745/his-announces-radeon-hd-7850-iceq-x-turbo-2-gb-graphics-card.html (?) I think it's made to overclock, being an owner of IceQ X cooler by all means I recommend IceQ cooling solutions. They're quite as well.

Can't find them in local stores. I ain't giving up local warranty service for better coolers and perhaps i will probably strap on a GPU fan bracket and try out how much cooling improves with 120mm fans tongue.gif
