I'd reccomend paying $1050~ and get the quadro series gp with 3rd gen i7, intel 4000, and nvidia 650m. 1920x1080 resolution, beats audio with blu ray, and a TERABYTE! Low temps and very fast, 7.6 in every WEI but hard drive is 5.9. Cheapest laptop with good card and display. 540m is ****.6630m is too. Check notebook website. The 650m runs 30+ fps ultra (bf3)with aa off. No OC. But the 670m on a sager is better although it doesnt have some extra neat features on a popular brand, and if the hp busts you can send it back and its reliable with the warranty.

Terrible choice. 1200 for an overpriced laptop with unneeded, beats audio ("don't believe the hype"). there are MANY better choices for that kind of money

TO OP:

You kinda got an array of laptops to choose from, currently i am looking into laptop of the same price and have come to these conclusions and will be asking people about my 2 decisions that you will see soon

There are 5 options in this price range.

Lenovo Y580 - 1160/1080$ Discount
Sager 9130 - 1060$
Sager 6164 - 1100$ customized
HP Dv6t - 950$ customized w/ 33%discount
MSI Ge60 - 1000$~ish?

Right now i am dont know between the HP and the Lenovo. Even tho sager makes great products i don't just want my laptop purely gaming, and that's what a sager laptop is for. I just want a all around good laptop. (sager is heavy, ugly, no back-lit keys, small things like that)

So Its down to the lenovo which is 1080$ and yet to see some very solid reviews on it.

And the HP which is a steal right now at 950$....and then again its a HP.

That's my plans....

If you want a laptop purely for gaming you gotta go sager and upgrade either the 9130 a tiny bit....or upgrade the 6165 a lot

i kinda like Levono y580 and msi ge60.

ge60 look very slim and confortable, but cooling? has anyone owned that?

hp has a very bad name in here, cuz almost every hp has cooling problem. they are untouchable!

again, check Eurocom. They do very good laptops. check the Eurocom Monster 1.0 review and Eurocom Panther reviews

Get a sager for the 670m, that is better than 7970m(hp) and the 650m(Msi has). And btw @inchy97, i got it with blu ray, free 9 cel lithium, 650m, intel i7 3rd gen, how is that overpriced? 1050 around now plus anti glare screen, led keyboard, and low 40 c temps on BF3 full load 50 fps ultra.
