I am probably going to pick up ARMA II since I have been eyeballing that game...but I have to say that this head bob thing isn't realism. I can't understand why this gets into games. Am I some sort of mutant? Does the world really shake for people when they run around? In my case my eyes will compensate for any bobbing my head does and plus my body moves with it. Head bob on a monitor might be OK if my monitor and desk chair bobbed up and down in unison with the display on the screen. When I am stationary and the image jumps all over the place it is ridiculous. I think the No Head Bob mod for Stalker was the first mod made since they didn't have an option to turn it off. As much as I like the game it was the first game I ever applied a mod to in the first five minutes of playing.
The last game I purchased was The Witcher 2 last July...well, I also picked up Crusader Kings 2 when it got released (and dumped about 200 hours into it, but I think I've played it out). I am pretty well stocked up on games that came out before the Wticher 2 though I never did get Crysis 2. I should probably keep an eye for a Steam sale on that.
Max78...avoid Stronghold 3. At least look up some forums of it first. I was excited for that game since I liked the other games, but I've read nothing good about the third. It is supposed to be a real mess of bugs.
And wow...and had never read about the Mechwarrior Online. If that is done right...that could be one hell of a game. I would be nice to get one game that would last me a while. I am definitely setting a focus on that.

OP, have you played MP 1/2 yet? Max Payne 3 sounds like it's pretty good, if you had any doubts you could pick the first 2 (very cheap) and give them a shot. Aside from the graphics, I'm sure after playing them buying the 3rd would be a no brainer.
Yeah, I''ve played the first two...kind why I was thinking about the third. I just wasn't getting a good vibe from the game...I don't know. I am just thinking it is a game I should probably wait to get on sale.

Now, I love everything Skyrim.
Other than that, try Metro 2033, STALKER, Just Cause 2.
My dis-interest in Skyrim is due to my prior playing of TES games. Oblivion forever changed me. It was the last game I ever pre-ordered. I was so disgusted with it that now I make sure to let a game get released and read some non-beta reviews before I buy it,Edited by Vagrant Storm - 6/15/12 at 7:53am
