Overclocking Question

I'm not sure what to worry about when overclocking anymore. I've finally got good cooling in my 3 rigs and decent overclocks on them. The vcore is set at the max reccomeded on air for them all but my temps are still below the max reccomended temps. My 3800x2's load temp is at 40C, my XP 2400+ is at 45C and my 3.0E is at 50C. All these temps are about 10C below the safe reccomeded levels. I'm sure I can push farther but the vcore is getting high.

Before I got proper cooling I would reach the temperature threshold before maxing my vcore so I never had to worry about it. I've seen people push the vcore farther but they had water cooling or better.

Temps and V-core are related however :

It doesnt matter on the temps as if you pump too much V-core through the CPU it will kill it anyway.

I would drop that V-core and see if you can get it stable at a lower V-CORE.

Most of my overclocks can be 2/3 stable on stock volts. Then it seems I hit a wall and I get little gain for the voltage I have to put in.
