It's still going to be tough getting proper driver support. AMD has their hands full just trying to make tri and quad-crossfire work properly.

I vote to put a title on him saying 'FUD spreading intel representative' because it's what it looks he is biggrin.gif

Reiterating myself earlier, if there's a cheap enough mITX decent board (around €70) I'll grab an A10-5700 and build a portable computer for the uni with it. Flat CPU heatsink (a regular single tower one with flattened heatpipes), the lightest 250W PSU I can find, 8GB of Samsung low profiles, and a laptop-to-LVDS 1280x800 screen. If I cannot find a cheap enough 1600x900/1680x1050 12VDC powered screen that is thumb.gif

All of this in a single package, AKA briefcase smile.gif

Nah, he changed it; originally it was going to destroy Trinity, then it was match and now it's "won't be very far behind."

Hey Guys ! I've heard trinity's IPC is slower than llano then how can we guarantee that Piledriver will be faster than Bulldozer ?

Number one bulldozers IPC is also slower then Llanno and number 2 Trinity's Piledriver cores are hacked up and don't include L3.

The tradeoff is a higher clockspeed within the same TDP while at the same time allowing for a faster clocked GPU. "Hacked up"? The GPU has to fit onto the die somehow,L3 doesn't significantly impact performance anyway.

The MSI Big Bang Fuzion, 870A Fuzion, and Asus Crosshair IV Extreme. It never lived up to expectations, performance varied wildly from scaling nearly perfectly to actually degrading performance, with mostly just providing small performance gains. Also, it depended heavily on drivers being made specific for each card setup for each game, so it never really took off. From what I see, Asus only included so that AMD users can officially SLI on an AM3 platform; this was before the 9xx got SLI certification.

hydra does work, just never got to be as good as two crossfire or SLI cards for lack of support.
problem is people didn't buy it, so it ends with lack luster support.

They're the same hypocrites, who said it would be awesome to use and would buy it. Those type of people never bought it.
They now do it by software, on a select motherboards

Moral here is if you going want support for it get more people to buy it. That's basically how they're paying their staff.
