I have 2700k, asus p8p67 pro, seasonic x650w psu and 8gb samsung green ram.
The cpu volt is 1.45v, running at 4.9ghz. The ram is at 2133mhz 9-10-10-28 timings. No overclock on my GPU. For some reason every few boots my system will turn on then about 5 seconds later turn itself off. Then it turns back on and begins to boot. It gets to black windows loading screen then hangs...then I have to reboot. Today I had to reboot about 5 times before it finally past the windows loading screen.
Why is it doing this? I have prime95 tested this system overnight for 12 hours and it has been running fine for months. It seems to be cropping up more regularly now?
Only thing I noticed is when the system turns itself off at the start, the red CPU_led stays on, instead of turning off after few seconds, not sure if this has anything to do with it?
Anyone got any ideas for this, my gut feeling says corrupt OS or something is on the way out. I hope its neither like.
