Do you want to spend all that money on a motherboard? Honestly, in my opinion, it's not necessary to spend all that cash on a motherboard; at least not for 1155; maybe for socket 2011.

If you do want to spend all that cash on a motherboard, although your current board is far from bad, even Gigabyte's low end boards are pretty good, then I would recommend something like these:

ASRock Fatal1ty Z77 Professional
ASUS Sabertooth Z77
GA-Z77X-UD5H (the WB version if you need WiFi)

my current board isnt bad on paper but even with the slightest OC it becomes rediculously unstable!
the board i had before which cost like £70 was more stable.

i dont neceserally want to spend it all but i want to get something thats REEEAAAALLY good and thats my limit.

im thinking i might go for a z77 sabertooth.

My recommendation would be definitely MSI P77 GD65. Best value for money and great performer, also if blue is your color scheme (ala blue vengeance ram) then you’re in luck

Scan has the board for £149.62 www.scan.co.uk

If you're a heavy gamer you may want to invest that money in a newer GPU... just sayin' redface.gif

I use a cheapish MSI board and my 2500k clocks up to 4.8 ghz at 1.395v, you may not need to spend all of your hard earned moolah on a high end board. It should be listed in my sig, I think it runs about 120 USD.

Use a six sided die with each option as 1-2, 3-4, 5-6. thumb.gif

Or check the reviews, to each their own biggrin.gif
