Damn i own 2 copies of RA3, to bad the SecureRom wont let them work on my system. Does anyone know if you can use the retail keys to activate the steam versions?

RA3 and C&C4 were such trash, good to see this being done to fix it. RA1 was one of my best childhood memories, loved that game soooo much.

i have like 1000 hours logged in ra3... must say, i love the game. however, EA really dropped the ball on it. they released a few patches, but ended support quickly, leaving a broken game. there's usually no more than 150 players online... and 75% of them are from countries like latvia and afghanistan (no joke)... the amount of lag with these players is ridiculous. game is literally played at 5 fps. then there's the people who have somewhat decent internet, but have terrible computers, and try to run the game on max settings, causing another 5 fps game. nobody really takes up these mods, unfortunately. the player base is just way too small. and just to keep in mind, ra3 has absolutely nothing to do with spamming units, it's a game that requires an incredible amount of micro and strategy.

even with all those negatives in mind, ra3 is still my favorite rts of all time, beating out aoe-c and sc2... if anyone here wants to run some 2v2s, pm me.
