Building Computer: Won't Turn On

Thread Starter
Hi all. I am building my computer and when I finished and attempted to turn it on, it wouldn't turn. I am pretty sure everything is in the right places. Could the PSU be DOA? It didn't really make a beeping sound or any noise when I turned ont he computer (which did not turn on at all). What about the motherboard? Can it be faulty/dead on arrival? I am not sure what else could cause the computer to not turn on. Any help? Thanks

Either PSU or Mobo, Try running it with a cheapo PSU to see if that is the problem

Here is a way to test your PSU. Take the motherboard power plug and look at it from the end. Then get a small wire and stick it in the top 3rd and the top 4th from the left. These 2 pins are the motherboard's way of turning on the PSU. This will let you see if it is your PSU.
