Best motherboard for 3770k overclocking?

no budget. what is the best motherboard to get the highest stable overclock with the average ivy bridge 3770k?

edit: and i've seen similar questions but not this surprisingly dont hate

I've got my sabretooth up to 5.1, but it got really f'ing hot, even with my full water loop.

All of the high end Asus boards are pretty awesome for overclocking.

Your processor will overheat far before the motherboard is the limit. Any $150+ motherboard will do unless you are running better than water cooling, such as phase. Buy the board that has the features you need, and a look that you like. It will reach the ~4.6GHz max you'll get on 90% of 3770ks before the temp hits 90C+.

The entire ASUS Z77 lineup is good.

I like the GIGABYTE Z77 lineup, UD3H and up, M3 included. Z77X-UD3H is very impressive, they have ivy bridge frequency WR on it. I think UD5H woudl be better for very high 24/7.

i ended up ordering the ASUS P8Z77 WS board. I'll be using it only for gaming, with a 3770k. what do u think of my purchase??

only 1 GPU? The upside is if you get another GPU you can run them both at 16x lol.

Get the board i have! Excellent. My chip can go much higher on this board. 5.1 audio and wireless internet with reciever also comes with it.

It "was" stable, but VERY hot. My full liquid loop couldn't cool it down. Around 100c load. A little too toasty for me to be comfortable. Voltage was in the 1.4-1.55 range. I leave it at 4.6 now, with fairly low voltage (1.25-1.35).
