I really don't think anyone with an i3 would use more than one video card, especially with having to deal with micro stuttering. Before dealing with the lack of PCIe 3.0, one would have to deal with the i3 bottle-necking the video card.
I guess the lack of enthusiasm came from the reviewed small performance gains upgrading from Sandy Bridge to Ivy Bridge. The Ivy Bridge i3's will probably not be much better than current Sandy Bridge i3's I guess.

so even if they release a K serie .. I would not buy it.
