I don't give a rat's ass about GCN. I like to game, not participate in some online pyramid scheme currency building exercise. I'd rather have PhysX (have four games that support it), Ambient Occlusion, Dynamic Vertical Sync and Digital Vibrance. That's why I'm posting in the Nvidia forum (funny how that works, isn't it?). Otherwise I would have just bought an HD 7850 and been done with it. Actually, I bought one and sent it back when I discovered I missed Nvidia specific items.

I have to agree. I'm not an Nvidia fan boy by any means. I always make sure I am as educated as possible before buying anything. I have never in my life been more tempted to buy a Radeon product than I was to get a 7950. In the end, like Jeffredo, it was some of Nvidia's proprietary features that swung the balance in their favor. These things do matter to some people.

Never knew that when I had my 5670, discovered it on my 560Ti and gladly use it at 100%.

Here I am still chomping at the bit and resurrecting my old thread. I have a new 24" 1980x1200 ASUS PA248Q monitor coming in from Newegg Monday (coolsmiley02.gif) and am still chugging along with my OC'd GTX 460 1GB. Saw this on Amazon and I have more than enough gift card credits to pay for it:

http://www.amazon.com/MSI-N570GTX-Twin-Frozr-II/dp/B008809SUM/ref=lh_ni_t

Looks to be a final new model from MSI with all those old leftover GTX 570 chips. What do you guys think? Decent deal? Should I keep waiting for the elusive GTX 660?
