Do nVidia and ATI drivers still conflict?

My new sig rig is almost completed, I'm waiting to purchase my motherboard hopefully sometime next week. I have two GTX 570s that I will be using. I have a 5750 here that I'd like to install into the 3rd PCIe x16 slot for additional monitors (have 3 currently, looking to move up to 5). Will having both the nVidia Drivers and ATi drivers installed conflict? I know there were problems in the past, but I haven't kept up with it over the last few years.

 

Any feedback is much appreciated.

I dont believe they do. Windows 7 also got better at manageing more than one video driver.

I concur ... for awhile there I was swapping nV and ATI cards in and out of my machine, just leaving both sets of drivers installed. It didn't cause any issues, but I only ran one brand at a time. I suspect though that they'll happily coexist even if you run both brand of cards.

yep. mine did with the nvidia drivers and amd drivers on the igp on my board. had to do a clean install of windows again
