Hi,
Tomorrow I'll be getting a paycheck and have been wanting a PC dedicated to gaming but can only delegate $600 (+/-) at the moment.
Approximate Purchase Date: preferably within the week
Budget Range: $600, really don't want to go over that
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Want to be able to play BF3 on decent settings with 30+ fps, then play other games naturally
Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, speakers, OS, EDIT: Don't need a case or optical drive
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: been browsing newegg, but honestly don't care. There are no local stores, so have to order.
Country: USA
Parts Preferences: What ever works.
Overclocking: What ever works
SLI or Crossfire: No
Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080 preferably
Additional Comments: It can be ugly as all hell, I just would like a quad core with 4/8GB of RAM and a nice GPU to run games from the get go.
I have been browsing around and looked into this in the past, but never built a PC before, just upgraded an old junker last year. Intel seems to have better performance for the hardware, but AMD has better bang for the buck. nVidia seems to be best GPU, and I like the sounds of the 560Ti and seems semi affordable if I can keep everything else down. Though again, I'm a newbie at this and feel overwhelmed with all the things to choose and make sure they are compatible; and again I mainly want to upgrade over time but have a good base platform that I can run current games with before I begin upgrading in a few months (if that can be done within my budget)
Thanks for any help, sniv
EDIT: Don't need a case or optical drive
