Thread Starter
Not looking to spend a lot. Suggest a good mousepad for cs:s? Using a Logitech G400

Ended up with a QCK. $10, I'll buy another one in a year if I have to lol.

Using high or low sensitivity for CS ? Like do you move your mouse a lot or just moving it around a small area ? Also do you lift your mouse up at all ?

qck heavy is what most pros use, its a good mousepad.
if you want speed over control you should think about the 4hd/9hd pads they are totally thin and have a GOOD texture and FAST speed.

Personally i stopped at a GOliath control cuz its totally big and has a nice speed for a cloth pad.

I rock the Goliathus Extended Speed mat, and I haven't looked back. Best mouse pad I have ever owned, and I would totally buy another one if this one ever feel apart; I don't see that happening however. It's very heavy duty cloth and it cleans easy, and the edge is hemmed so that it doesn't fray with use. I don't think you would regret buying such a BA mousepad.

puretrak talent...... qck will only last you about 6 months then will start to become very inconsistent and flatten. it's made out of normal polyester and that's it. had my talent for about 3 years now and it really does still feel like new.

Go with a hard pad that is made out of metal or
plastic.

If we're gonna assume that you're like most CS:S players and you use low sensitivity, then you don't want a hard mat. So from soft mats, the best ones are still puretrak talent and Qck+ Heavy. Can't go wrong with either one.

I was using plastic mousepads for fps games including cs but in the end the cloth pad is better. Plastic mouse pads lose the slip in the end and you ruin your mouse skates, then u have to change them, i got bored of these things and switched to cloth pads, first i use qck+ it was allright but it is too thick, then i switched to QCK+ Special edition who basicly qck heavy it felt much better but i had fnatic special edition which has a fnatic team logo on it and looked a bit childish so when i won Zowie GT-F spawn edition i switched to it, i like it better than qck because it feels harder, and was waterproof but now after 2 years isnt anymore. So the conclusion is go with proper big size cloch pad and be happy all the way:D

PureTrak Talent vote for me. People usually buy the QcK not ever trying the Talent but when they do, they never go back. I was one of dem!
