I have no idea if this is a stupid question. but is there a way to wire a physical switch (like a rocker switch) into my computer, so i can program my computer to change settings? i want to be able to have a switch to change my graphics card clocks. because i dont want it running at v.high clocks when im not gaming!

You could conceivably do this with MSI Afterburner or Sapphire Trixx, some clever scripting, and a single button that runs on USB. Might be a lot less trouble to just open AB/Trixx and switch profiles via the software interface when you need to down-clock manually.

maybe some sort of USB device. Tbh im sure you could code it to do whatever you ant as long as you could get the computer to register the switch being flicked and to be able to use it as a trigger. i just want to know if its possible to have the computer to have a switch or something as an input.
