This would be great, I liked the character stories in SWTOR. I just didn't have enough money to subscribe monthly anymore. Previously I felt forced to play the game every day so I wouldn't waste my money. That took the fun out and it started to feel like work. F2P would be perfect solution.

If you make enough money in game, EVE CAN be played without spending any real life money. Just buy 30-day PLEX's on the market.

I might give it a try if it were F2P. The price for entry right now is a bit high, and I'm not wanting to commit to a $15 per month deal.

I'm always surprised when I hear people talk about $15 for an MMO like it's a big investment or something. I guess I can understand if you play another MMO or other games and simply admit to not having interest in the game so you simply don't want to pay for it, but, if you guys really are interested in playing the game, you really can't afford $15 for a whole month?

I remember going to arcades when I was little. You would be lucky if you could make $15 last an hour.

People who smoke go through $15 in a day or two just on cigarettes. worriedsmiley.gif

I'm sure many of us had a post somewhere on the forums describing how we 'saw it coming'. Mine? Can't say I said 'this is gonna happen!!' but more like 'I hope they don't do it the way it sounds like they're gonna do it, because it won't work. Just like the rest that go to FTP...'

tl:dr rant about ffxi being hard but rewarding, every other MMO where things are handed to u on silver platter. no difficulty. ever since WoW and it's clones plague the MMO genre. Just started SWTOR's trial.

We need innovation. We need difficulty. We need a larger percentage of content that MUST be done in groups, and not so easy that one person or two people can drag the rest of the group through.

Yea I can't justify buying a game then essentially re-buying it three more times in the course of a year.

plus I try to get on and play games everyday, but I have a wife and a kid and a job and a other hobbies, so there is a good chance I wouldn't get to play but a few hours a week.

so ~8 hours for 15 bucks? I'll pass.

<---post 1111 lol.
