i wish wow would go F2P as well.
i knew it was gonna start being terrible when blizzard introduced badges in 2.4.3 and wrath had a good story line but seriously made it so that even baddies who specced 71 points into fire could end the expansion with the best in slot gear.
now its just a cluster BLEEP of idiots who want everything without trying. if you actually raided during TBC you will find that today's raiding scene is one where raid maps are linear, cluttered, and the bosses rehased from before. yes, raiding could be horrendously bad if you were in a bad guild, but in TBC our guild's finest moment was clearing out SWP and downing Kil'Jaedan before the nerf patch. I didn't actually kill KJ because I was only in the guild as a pvper, and I carried a couple of the officers (MERCILESS & BRUTAL GLADIATORS FTW!) in arena (RMP FTW) on my mage. its sad that blizzard never really cared about pvp
i loved arena and i tried out RBGs for a month when i played cata and it was just... 3 weeks of gearing up before some of my old time buddies took me into their group and got me from 0 to 2400... granted i played with a 2700 mmr group but still.. we destroyed people who didn't know what LOS was or how dispels worked... oh well high warlord in 3 days i'm not complaining.
SWTOR could have been better. I played the beta and thought it would be great if they got rid of the many bugs and glitches. however the actual game carried a lot of the things that were wrong in the beta... the pvp seemed promising but the world was empty and devoid of life... what the hell man
mmos are dead and guild wars 2 is going to be the same pile of poo.
