I thought the same thing, but despite being the same power supply, they are different. The Corsair model uses slightly different Connections at the PSU end to prevent what you just suggested. Also, if you were thinking then of just picking up an atx terminal extractor and swapping the plastic parts, you can't do that either.

Not only does the 24 pin use a different number of wires between the PSU and motherboard connectors, the metal terminal ends on the Corsair cables are shaped so that they physically cannot fit into the Seasonic Plastic connector. Don't make the same mistake I did....as far as I can tell, there's no returns.
