sounds great, now hopefully they can get the quality and value correct.

Exactly how I feel, Vizio is definitely a company I would support. The next time I get a TV, I imagine it'll either be a Vizio, Google or Samsung one.

One of the All in ones would be perfect for my wife. Think its time to look into Vizio.

Also: Finally a manufacturer that does not put stickers and Bloatware on their machines.

I wouldn't say that vizio "conquered the TV market". Their TV's are crap, the picture quality is abysmal. Samsung and sony and LG are still miles ahead of Vizio when it comes to TVs. Maybe they should have said "After breaking into the competitive TV market..."

In fact, they sold mostly 720p sets at the time. Still not impressed with laptop either. My desktop was cheaper and is much faster. Besides, the design/color scheme is an Applw clone, and I hate Apple.

Have a 55" and 32" Visio, both are great, no problems with either. Your desktop was cheaper because it isn't an all-in-one and didn't have a monitor built in.

Impressive. Stumbled on this while browsing The Verge just now. Was going to post it but luckily a quick search on OCN stopped me from posting the same thing biggrin.gif

I really like how Vizio is thinking of their business. For example when he mentioned android tablets and how ICS doesn't require a skin for consumer use and giving it to customers was detrimental to the Android experience.
Quote:
“When we came out with our first tablet we were on Gingerbread, and Gingerbread on a tablet was... suboptimal, to put it politely.” That's obviously not the case with Ice Cream Sandwich, so Vizio's skin isn't necessarily required anymore.

hmmmm.....this or the Zenbook Prime for back to school? redface.gif
