All the original team from phantasy star online 1 are part of the new game so its hard to imagine it tho.
to topic:
a dam shame this game made so much profit only due to the games name + blizzard, and it turned out to be a complete mess in my opinion.
from the:
noobifying the skill system (spam fest) and gameplay heck even stats got retard proof, all the way down to RMAH this completely ruined diablo3 for me in my honest opinion. People say you don't have to use it and before people used it anyways but you would of gotten banned/ was frowned upon and against the games policy to do so. Only difference now its blizzard said "if you can't beat em lets join em and take their profit"
seriously blizzard just focused the game around RMAH and are cashing in nice profits from all transactions, its simply a money making scheme disguised as a "new feature".
real money should never be a part of any video game or virtual world, period. takes too long to get money so you prefer to shell out the wallet? why play the game then if you can not earn your things.

Hmm, you realize that pretty much every single f2p game has you spending real money in a virtual world. While just a couple sentences above that your going on about how your looking forward to playing a f2p game.

The fact that Diablo 3 is the #1 game in May, let alone even the #1 PC game, is sad. I wonder how many people bought it just because of D1 & D2? Most of the coworkers at my office bought it and all but one of them stopped playing it within a week.

Not sure if serious. Its for PC only right now. Its a PC Game. Most other games are for Consoles too.

Exactly, it's sad that it is doing so well. To me that means there's not much out there right now that's exciting.

I have enjoyed the game greatly... Until I hit level 60... With all 5 classes. Grinding for gear in D2 was fun, fast, easy, exiting. Grinding in D3 is nothing like that. I have mostly stopped playing the game until Blizzard balances out Inferno mode. I don't want to be frustrated trying to progress through the game.

I don't get this line of thinking. Diablo 2 was one of the biggest PC games ever. What did you think it was going to do?

There was plenty of good releases for a summer month. No one is buying games anymore. Or not very many at least.

Now it's going to have the biggest return rate too. What a flop.

Meh. I'm not willing to front the $60 required to refute your opinion that Diablo III counts as "good." On the other hand, I can't remember the last game that I've put as many hours into as I have Dragon's Dogma.
