I've been looking into setting up a rackmount pc inside my desk. Ideally, with sliding gliders or rollers to allow easy access to the case. The desk has a large, open area on the left side with some slide-out shelves. I don't have the vertical room to just put my current case on a shelf sideways, so I'm thinking of screwing the rollers into the top n bottom of my tower, and mount it in there. The only problem is using the dvd-drive horizontally. So how can I make the dvd-drive and card reader screw into the case vertically. Here's a rough sketch.

I thought maybe just using a 5.25" to 3.5" holder screwed into the drive bay vertically, or using some acrylic sheets, but I dunno which would be better/easier. Not too concerned with looks. More just durable functionality.
