Ordered ASROCK Z77 Extreme4 but got an Asus Z77 Sabertooth

Hi all,

Umm... weird question... but i ordered from Microcenter ASROCK Z77 Extreme4 along with 3570k (so i got that $50 off bundle).
came home installed it, and didnt care for oc till today (about 3 days later) when I got the CPU cooler. (i must admit i was too excited to read boxes and stuff)

when i went to oc' i noticed the diff bios and saw "ASUS Z77 Sabertooth" quickly turned around looked at box... yup, they gave me a z77 sabertooth.

I see that the z77 sabertooth is more expensive and etc.. so ive been wondering if i should keep it ? or is the z77 sabertooth more worth it, overclocking wise.

How did you put your computer together and not notice it was a Z77 Sabertooth until the bios??? But anyways, I'd just keep the Sabertooth.

Two completely different motherboards, how could you not notice the box said ASUS or Sabertooth?

Anywho, I always liked ASUS mobos better than ASrock, so I would stick with the Sabertooth wink.gif

Hah, yes, your story has a bit of a credibility problem biggrin.gif I'm content with my ASRock Extreme 4, but you should have a look at the ASRock Z77 motherboards thread to read owner reviews and issues another for the ASUS motherboard and make up your mind.

If you paid ASRock prices and got the Sabertooth than you lucked out my friend! Either way you won't be dissapointed. I actually like my ASRock z77 board more than my z68 ASUS board.
