In Need of a good router.

Thread Starter
Hey I Am in the need of a new router. My old has just died on me. I don't really have anything in mind. It doesn't need to be wireless or anything, but I am a huge gamer and having a nice gaming router would help . I don't know to much about them so any suggestion and help would be greatly appreciated, also would be nice if you could link me to the one that you suggest .

If you don't do much LAN stuff then any standard common-day router should do. For a quality router at a good price, I'd recommend the Linksys WRT54G. It also has wireless capabilities if you ever need to worry about a wireless connection.

Something that we need to know is your connection type:

Ethernet
ADSL.

However the best routers IMO are the Linksys brands as there part of Cisco systems ( The people who make networks possible )

Heres a nice one. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16833124007
