Wireless Problem

Thread Starter
I got this strange problem.

Today my uncle brought his friend lap. and his lap. over to my house because at his friend's house the wireless wasnt working correctly(it was able to connect to most of the site but some sites it couldnt connect as fast it it suppose too). While he was at his friends house he also compared his lap. and with his friend, his was working fine. When he brought both his lap and his friend lap over to my house for me to check it out nothing seem to be wrong with it. Both of the lap. was working just fine. My uncle said at his friends house the strength for the wireless. is excellent.I told him to try and use the cable plug instead of the wireless to c if it would make any difference, and it did. what might be the problem?

Well not that your POST is very clear but what i can make out is that you cant get wireless to work on this laptop at all at your house ?.

If so make sure that you have turned off the internal firewall on any Router you might be using and stay away from any wireless phones.
