Seriously though, I'm running 1680x1050 on my 20" and most games are 50-60+ FPS smooth on my single GTX480. Not many games out there are maxing out graphics card these days, let alone gameplay quality games...

Quite a few will push cards to the limits, but you gotta be at 1920x1200 or larger. And yes, witcher 2 will bring a card to its knees with ubersampling on, and metro 2033 takes some real power too

^LOL yeah I kinda agree with 8-Ball. I have a EVGA GTS 450 on my old gaming computer and it still runs most games really smooth. About a month ago I bought an EVGA 550ti from an NCIX warehouse sale for $70 so I'm not complaining tongue.gif Although at the next NCIX warehouse sale this year I hope to get a better gpu for cheap so yeah! Suppose it's all about getting deals and getting what you pay for so be patient.

I'm thinking by the end of 2013 , the new consoles would be out. so it'd be pointless to upgrade next year, So the good time is either now or early 2014 when we might have the next gen games.

I think the next upgrade for my computer will be cosmetic and cooling. I have a swiftech radiator right now that is a little thin but I really want to move to one of those Black Ice Rads. I also want to do something about my cable management and get some nice UV tubes in there with come UV reactive cables and water tubes. Does anyone know of a good UV light assembly? I want something that is bright but does not give off a strong purple glow and that is also easily concealable.
