No those aren't real temps, unless your room is 40F. Temp sensors can be off at idle, full load temps are more accurate and the only ones you should really worry about.

What's your ambient temperature? Unless you're in a really cold room (really really cold), then the temps aren't correct. An air cooler (or a water cooler) cannot attain temperatures below ambient because it is the air in the room that cools the heatsink (or radiator)

17c is roughly 62f. I see this is being possible. Ambients around my house have been mid 40's lately.

my mac registers 24 degrees C ambient. That is consistent with the second TMP sensor. not sure what the other temp sensors are. HDD?

that is if your motherboard is good for oc'ing.

i assume your cpu temp is temp0. i add 10 deg to core temps and they should always be lower than cpu temp by about 3-5 deg.

here are my temp when it was 30F outside . . .
