Great looking benches hnc! Seeing that makes me want to run out in the 110 degree heat here in AZ to day and hit Fry's and get me an FX. I now have 16 GB of the Samsung 30nm but the best I can do with "daily driver " settings on everything is right here:

Not too shabby for $50/8GB RAM! And running all four channels packed with 4 GB each too. I can actually get a bit higher- up above 10 GB/s, but it requires jacking up voltages- etc. This right here is all auto volts on everything- 1.35 v on the Samsung.smile.gif

You are welcome, the Samsung is the best value happening in RAM right now. Do you by chance happen to have Supreme Commander? I have been binging on it a bit lately since I got a dual screen setup- which allows you to put the "mini" map (full zoomable map) on one screen and all else on other- very cool thumb.gif I am curious about whether SP uses all 8 cores. It was one of the first games to be fully coded for 4 cores a few years back, but I have not been able to find anything on whether it will indeed use all 8. If I saw a screenshot of an 8120 rockin out all 8 cores on SP that might be the final push to go FX. biggrin.gif

No I don't have that one but I'll see about getting it, if I can get you that screenshot I will.

Fun game, and it is in the $10 rack nowadays if you can find it. It is the one game I have been playing that can max out my 555- on giant maps with 7 AI's@1,000 units each- etc. Normal size maps are fine. I think maybe I am just fishing for that excuse to upgrade...rolleyes.gif

I am not sure if i want to buy a set ... but if I do is there a good place to break down how to over clock ram on a Z77 ... I have never over clocked ram ...
