Thoughts on Vishera

I was just reading the Toms Hardware review of the A10-5800k which looks extremely promising...

My thoughts were this though, the floating point tests were getting very close to the same performance as llano, which has 4 fpus as opposed to trinity's 2 fpus. Does this mean we should expect Vishera to perform like a phenom II x8 like we all expected out of bulldozer, or is that just wishful thinking?

I'd imagine it'd be pretty similar to how the desktop version of trinity is now, but slightly improved (higher clock speed, L3 cache and such)
So that'd be a decent comparison I suppose

Hello...

As far as the IPC PD trintiy has 17%-19% Because 137

108'' / 91'' = 19% improvemet or 15% less..

If the code has 1000 calculations in the first we need 1000/91 calcula/ s and then 1000/108 calcula/ s SO 19%

eg If i am correct at 3.9 GHZ turbo on BD has 6.01 at CB.. ( L3 gives 7% ) and with the IPC L3 and stock speed PD at 4GHZ cinebench would be + 27 % so 6 X 1.27 = 7.7



APUs have resonant clock mesh ?

In the articles they said for RCM that at 30-50% has -30% power consumption and at 100% -10%...

IPC 17% L3 7-8% and f 12% up. = 35% up approximately.

( at llano L3 gives 7-8% )

Just to clarify, they aren't testing Vishera (CPU only). They're testing the Trinity APUs.
Vishera is the AM3+ answer for all of those that waited for Bulldozer with their AM3+ boards and were disappointed. So this is a way that AMD is trying to make up to those fans. Performance should still be related and I hope that the actual Vishera is even more power efficient.
