Yeah I tried out the demo, loved it.
There are some tweaks out there to make FPS a whole lot better in this game, even at Medium this game looks stunning.
Here are some links that will help you increase your FPS.
Although, Auto-Gen takes a **** load out of your CPU and FPS, I'd recommend leaving it low to normal. Out of all the planes I've flown so far, I'd say the Cesna is the most 'noob' friendly.
Turned up crosswinds to 50knots
And landed a Leerjet, tried to land in a cesna and it flipped over ahhaah.
This game like FS2004 was made for gamelife, it will last at least four years.
We haven't even seen this games true face, microsoft is working on the DX10 update for this game. They have a whole 10 months to make it so much better
Although at first this game can be daunting to the newbie, just give it a few shots. Get it in the air, swing her around and bring her back heading towards the runway, decrease the speed to idle, chuck the flaps on full, lower the landing gear and glide to the runway
I bought the full version, it has a learning centre where a virtual pilot (A Real World Acredited Flying Instructor) will guide you through the basics, such as taking off, flying, changing direction, landing, etc.
