Question about ram and bios configuration intel xmp

Hey i have my ram and have set them correctly up in the bios, i have activated intel xmp and then the settings changed to the right spec for the with correct timings and correct voltage,but in windows and in the 3dmark 11 you see that the speed is totally wrong and voltage may also be.

3dmark11=http://3dmark.com/3dm11/3661697

what should i do to make the ram the same as in bios intel xmp profile?

i got asus p8z77-v motherboard
Memory: Kingston hyper x genesis 1600 mhz ram (http://www.valueram.com/datasheets/K...D3X2K2_8GX.pdf)

I always just set my timings/voltage/speeds manually. The XMP always seems to throw off at least one setting/timing that doesn't match the rated specs. If you know all the timings and are comfortable setting them manually(which you seem to be), just do it yourself and leave it be.

Edit: Oh, don't go by what 3d Mark is telling you btw. It is showing a lower speed due to speedstep kicking in and lowering your multipliers. Or it may be just showing your base ram speed before it is doubled. Going by the link you provided, it is showing your base 667Mhz RAM speed, before it is doubled(DDR stands for double data rate). 2x667 would give you the correct 1333 speed you are looking for. Use something like CPU-Z to show the real speed and timings your ram is running at.

ao intel xmp is just a mode so it sets itself to nearly at the rated specs'?

It should set it to the exact specs the RAM is rated at, but in my experience it always raises or lowers at least one timing on my RAM kits. It looks like yours are set to 1333 RAM(667Mhz x2), so you may have to set them up manually through the BIOS to 1600.

but in the bios it is intel xmp and it has the right speed but in wibdows in it different

Just so you know, almost any program will show half of the actual speed. 667 * 2 = 1333MHz.
So yes, something is still configured wrong. Be sure to select the right XMP profile, it should enter everything correctly for you.
There are different profiles, like 1066MHz, 1333MHz, 1600MHz, 1866Mhz ect.
If not, ditch the XMP-thing and enter everything manually.

It is the various active control that play with setting. Xmp is the safe of setting recommended by Intel. But turbo kicking speedstep etc etc.don't sweat if you use xmp profile you are perfect. If you don't use xmp.You use the regular not oc profile.
