Perhaps not the best idea, but you can just make a Windows VM (can be XP or 7 or anything) that is running on the VMWare host and install vSphere Client into that.
Then just remote desktop into the VM when you need to use vSphere.
Obviously if the host fails you're in some trouble, but in a multi-host environment with vMotion this is less of an issue.
