Need Suggestions for a Medium Profile Keyboard

For the last year i'v been looking for a good low profile keyboard. Since i spend half my time on a laptop i'v never been keen on full profile keys I don't care that much about price but under $250 would be preferable smile.gif

What it must have:

Media keys
lighting
Full back space and left shift key!
Hand rest
And solid build quality
macro keys

My current keyboard the Sidewinder x6 is starting to die and is no longer registered key strokes some of the time which is quite frustrating but there seem no better alternatives than buying another shoddy quality sidewinder.

Any recommendations would be grate!

And yes I DON'T want a full profile height mechanical keyboard (wish there were low profile mechanical keyboards)

Erm. The Sidewinder X4 and X6 are one of the best rubber domes out there, shoddy quality?

But yes I am too looking for a mech keyboard with 'lower' profile keys.

I has not been a bad keyboard its just starting to die and no longer registered key strokes some of the time maybe i just got unlucky....... I'v been thinking about getting the roccat isku. But It just sounds like its fairly poor quality....... I'v also been thinking about getting the Razer Lycosa mirror any idea what the build quality of that is? Most of my razer products die after 1 1/2 years....

I hear the x4 is better than the x6.

But I-Rockes makes some good one: here

The I-ROCKS KR-6402-BK - ALUMINUM X-SLIM KEYBOARD FOR PC - BLACK is a nice looking one. The also have a pink one with an animated girl, but we wont mention that wink.gif

Ya nice, quite like some of the enermax keyboards on the market but lacking 4 of the 7 preferable requirements stated ...... Unfortunately redface.gif ,
Wish someone could just release a keyboard like a mix between Roccat Valo, Logitech G19 and Microsoft Sidewinder x6 with the build quality of a Steel series 7G ( or at least my perception of Steel Series quality rolleyes.gif Yes i am a sucker for marketing)

And i would give them lots of money.......... Well say 200

Anyone one know any medium height keyboard with that rough description....
