Help with on board graphics on Intel Z77?

When i run parted magic to secure erease my GPU's, it asks me to go into sleep mode.
When i sleep, then hit the ESC key, the system boots but i get no image. I then have to try and connect which ever way i can, using any form of cable i can. When i do get an image, it is very blurry and all over the place with lines and....well....it is unreadable.

How can i prevent this?

So you are only using the onboard gfx right? You have your GPUs unplugged? You are just trying to secure erase your SSDs?

I'd say try a different download of parted magic, try to use the alternative graphical server for it, or ditch parted magic and use HDDErase or hdparm: http://www.overclock.net/t/1227597/how-to-secure-erase-your-solid-state-drive-ssd-with-parted-magic#post_16684060

If i connect them to the 7970's, I still get no image so i just try onboard and vice versa. Not much luck.
Is it possible to boot up with the SSD's unplugged, then load into parted magic, then connect the SSD's and secure erease them thus avoiding sleep?
