I want to know is possible to adjust the length the cable cutting whit a scissor whitout problems ?

if this cables are only 2 copper wires, theoretically i should not have any problems if i cut manually whit a my scissor or not ?
the bundle cable are always around 2mt, for example if i need only 20cm of cable, can i cut ?

I used to use a logitech G51 speaker set whos rear speaker cords were quite short. A simple snip and soldering on a nice braided cord allowed me to place them at a proper distance.
