680 3D ready?

42" vizio theater 3D tv and was wondering if nvidia cards were 3D capable on any tv's without the nvidia 3D kit... seems like the 3D part of a graphics card is pointless and just a marketing scheme if you have to buy their glasses/kit...

Yes sir (or ma'am wink.gif ), no Nvidia kit needed. You need separate software though. It's called 3DTV Play, and you can find it here. Hope that helps.

From the software description:
Quote:
NOTE: When using 3DTV Play software to connect to a 3D TV, 3D Vision wireless glasses are not used. Instead, the 3D TV manufacturer's 3D glasses are used.

If you haven't already checked, make sure your TV is compatible here.
