Well My Potalion is done for. I added more screws and now the back light is uneven with the right side being more bringht. Also the monitor is now hotter on the right side. mroe light, more heat. This has been a very unfortunate turn of events

My guess is one of his screws might have been long enough to make contact with something electrical. Tape might be advisable.

Just got my Potalion Pixel Perfect model yesterday.

About the delivery: Ordered it over the weekend, was contacted monday as they checked to make sure I'd have a graphics card that could operate it, and letting me know 1-3 days would be taken to inspect it. Left Korea Wednesday, hit the US and the Canadian border Thursday, where it was held up for about 8 hours. Then got to me in Atlantic Canada Friday morning. Claimed it as a gift valued at $70, and paid $14 on delivery through DHL($10 import fee + GST).

Pixel Perfect: Yes, not a dead or stuck pixel on the whole thing.

Blacklight: Very bad. I noticed it last night, and will try and get pictures tonight. Basically there is a <> shaped area in the center that is relatively dark and uniform like my Dell U2312, and the outside areas are all heavily bleeding with yellow light. Not noticeable in the day, but still excessively uneven. I'm going to attempt to get pictures tonight, before I give adding screws a try.

Screen itself: Gorgeous, Glossy is nice, glare is noticeable, but not bad at all. Pixel density is nice.

Construction: Buttons are awkwardly placed for multiple monitors, but once you set the backlight level you really don't need them again anyway. Stand is on the flimsy side, but not as bad as I expected. Still going to change to my wall mount at some point once I get this blacklight issue figured out.

I've discovered that Battlefield 3 is a struggle to play in eyefinity now even on low. I'd have thought dual Radeon 6970s would have been more capable. heh

Well, you are trying to power ~12 Megapixels, which is no small feat. tongue.gif Assuming you've got the 2BG variant, check your vram usage, you might be bottle-necked by that.

Now would be a good time for AMD to bring out some Radeon 8970s. Oh well, fall isn't that far away.
