Hello
I am general manager, Martin.
I am really sorry about that.
I received 20 pcs x Potalion monitor with perfect pixel from manufactor.
My staff checked all monitor.
But all monitor didn't passed strict test.
All have 1 dead pixel or problem of pannel.

Our rule is more strict than other sellers.
Other sellers regards black dot as normal.
But, we regard black dot as "defect".
So, lot of monitor are not passed test.

So, I am embarrassed.
Now, I tried find new monitor with perfect pixel from other distributer.
But, Potalion monitor with perfect pixel will be in stock in Late Aug.

1)If you wait for restock.
I will send monitor when in restock.
and as my apology, I will issue refund USD20 from your total sum amount.

OR

2) If you want to change other monitor with perfect pixel,
I will send other monitor.
I will issue difference and and as my apology, I will issue refund USD20 from your total sum amount.
(We have 2 monitors with perfect pixel)
1. Neo Matrix (Item number: 140808076771)
2. Qunix (Item number: 130736613369)

3)If you want to refund,
I will refund all money at once.

I am again sorry for whole situation.

I see.
Anything can;t be replaced with your uncomfortable feeling.
I would visit or call you about this situation and make formal apology to you.
But distance between you and me is so far.
I am soory that what I can do for you is only frank apology.

I will try my best to communicate with you.
I appreciate your generosity.

best Regards
Thanks

Martin

Yeah it was expected. There is a reason they are cheaper than the actuall A+ panels in Dell and Apple monitors. One dead pixel is not easy to see on such a pixel dense panel. I can't find any on my "perfect pixel". But what I do have is very slight bleed. These screens are bound to have some sort of fault. Bleed, dead/stuck or some color tints.

Afterall these a monitors that don't meet Dell's standards

What got me was they had a shipment of 20 screens, and none of them were fit for sale... Out of 20... Lol, well I get to go on holiday for a week, then get this sometime after I get back. Should be good.

Hi - Im looking to get this monitor and see alot of people complain about the wobbly stands (as with most the korean monitors)

So it comes with VESA screw holes - is it possible to put ANY vesa stand on it?

I was thinking of removing the stand off my 20" Dell and putting it on one of these... doable?

thanks
Well, turns out it wasn't just an issue with shielding, after a few days the problem came back, I'm organising some kind of return, whether it be just the PCB or the entire monitor.

Um since it was a stand for 20", probably not. This monitor has some weight. I'd recommend grabing one from Monoprice. The one I got was this. It still wobbles due to the way i attached it ( i made it a bit loose so that I can rotate it to portrait and pivot the screen).

mine: http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=108&cp_id=10828&cs_id=1082808&p_id=5970&seq=1&format=2

you can always buy an arm: http://www.monoprice.com/products/subdepartment.asp?c_id=109&cp_id=10828

Thought I'd give you guys a sneak peek at a project I'm working on: http://imgur.com/a/jkMw3

You can also find a Sketchup Model of the Potalion (without stand and other bits) here: http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=d3c204b17629b0a8f1f93de907a61a80&prevstart=0
