As far as I know, they don't have glass.

I'm running this perfectly off a 6870 (XFX Black Edition). I can even get into my UEFI BIOS (Asus P8P67 Pro BIOS 3207 x64).

I sent bigclothcraft an email on Friday asking about my order. Got a response back late last night, and sure enough, my order got lost in the shuffle and did not get shipped, only a tracking number. The general manager who responded was very sorry and did offer a $30 refund to my order, which I thought was cool. He stated my monitors shipped out that day, their Monday, so hopefully I get them soon and without defect.

Just my luck.

sucks for you. $30 off is pretty nice though. Others only got $3 from another seller for a blown shipment of their 27 inch monitor.

BCC continues to be a good guy to deal with. thumb.gif

BCC is excellent. Very professional. He offered me a decent partial refund for the slightly defective monitors I ordered and I think I'm going to take it. Not going for the Squaretrade warranty anymore as it seems like more hassle than it's worth.

I really can't recommend him enough.

my catleap died in about a week(electrical pop). Sent BCC a message and he asked me a few questions. He gave me his DHL account number and I shipped the monitor back. It was smooth and simple. He offered me a replacement or a full refund.

BCC is good in my book

Were you using the brick it came with? Is it bad to use the brick it came with or was the pop more like a bad luck type of thing?

Has anyone been successful at connecting the Potalion as a 2nd display to an iMac or Macbook Pro?

I just received my Potalion from BCC today and hooked it up to my 27" iMac, but no luck. It just shows a black screen. My iMac seems to 'see' that it's connection to 2nd display (labels it as TOPSYNC) and gives the appropriate 2560x1440 resolution as the default option, but nothing actually shows on the Potalion screen. And the green LED on the monitor flashes instead of staying steady.

I've tried 2 different dual-link DVI cables (the one that came with the Potalion, and another that I bought beforehand), and I'm using this mini displayport to dual-link DVI adapter: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0045I85GY/ref=pe_175190_21431760_M2C_SC_dp_1

Maybe the Potalion just isn't compatible with Macs. BCC said that my graphics card wasn't on the supported list because it is a 'mobile' version (AMD Radeon HD 6970M 2048 MB), but I was thinking it would surely work since the other monitors like Achieva Shimian and Catleap seem to be working with Macs.

Any suggestions?
